Men 25-35 that are single, how do you feel about the dating scene?

r/

Statistically the more partners you have the less inclined you are of having a lasting relationship, and these are the years people start to settle down. So how is it going? Is it exhausting with the dating apps? Are you concerned or chilling?

It’s trash. Dating apps are awful for pretty much everyone involved. Social media is equally terrible for the most part. Meeting someone organically is harder than ever because everyone just stays in their own bubble.

If you just want to hook up, my early 30’s have been the easiest time of my life. If next week goes well that’s five different women in four months.

If you want an actual relationship, at least for me that seems a ton harder. But i’m also not really seen as dating material for whatever reason. I can’t work out what the problem is, i’m fairly tall, i’m ok looking, i clearly can talk a decent game, I live alone and the women I do sleep with tend to occasionally call for a hookup, so i can’t even say i’m awful in bed.

I dunno, it’s a weird time out there for sure.

What non-christian source do you have to support your statement that the more partners you have, the less inclined you are to have a lasting relationship? I’d love to see some numbers.

Dating apps are pretty garbage so I don’t use them. I’m not trying to date right now because I want to get back in shape but after that happens I’ll probably just try to exist more in public until something clicks with someone. Usually only meet partners through random chance encounters and never when I’m actually attempting to find someone.

It was good. Had a lot of fun on the apps. Would sometimes get busy and not bother for a couple of months. Met some people through work or friends as well. Had a few shorter relationships, then I met my wife on an app and that was that.
