So I recently had two different sexual partners but not anymore. I recently got ringworm from idk where maybe my college campus. I went to the doctor two times and got the same diagnosis which I know it’s true bc I had ringworm when I was 12 and I remember what it looks like. I told both of them and the one asked me if I tested for every STD such as HIV and HPV. Luckily I used a condom with both. Mind you this guy has never been tested before in his life. I have and continue to do. I mention the fact that he’s never been tested and I have been screened for HPV when I got my PAP smear this past October. It came back negative. I then tell him that news flash men can’t get routinely tested for HPV so it’s possible that they can have it and can spread it around. Both were dumbfounded when I told them that (I see how my ex just passed high school too).

My ex husband gave my HPV. He also had no idea that men could even get it. Good thing that he knows now, cause he only has boys and now all the boys will get vaccinated for it
Men also seem to be dumbfounded when you tell them that they fathered a child, because they did not use a condom while having sex.
Now in the days of smart phones you can just ask to see screen shots of test results. But back in the day a good bullshit detector was, when asking a guy if he had been tested, specifically ask if they’ve been tested for HPV. They say yes, they’re bullshitting, because there is no HPV test for men.
