So, I’ve came a long way. I was always angry when younger and found out I’m great in sales and I went all in. Started in the financial and worked my way up to be the best in sales in all areas. Now, I’m getting to a point where my peers are all feel more “polished” than me. For the first time in my career I feel “behind”. I feel the need to go back to school and finish my degree but I’m sure I’m not the only one here. For the first time in my career I see that my manager is indifferent about me and I am having a hard time connecting with people.
So my question is, men who dominated their career working with people, how did you do it?

You’re not giving a lot of details. There are lots of ways to have a great career. I’d say ~75% of “managers” are mediocre at best. You may be dealing with someone that isn’t in tune with their business unit or just going through the motions. There is a certain point where playing the game can become beneficial, by which I mean networking with the right people, inserting yourself into difficult company initiatives, being forward thinking and not waiting around being told what to do. Of course, easier said than done.
That being said, there is no silver bullet. The array of competence and charisma up and down the hierarchy is immense and I’ve met many successful people that didn’t “dominate” anything. A lot were rather mediocre overall.
I don’t intend this to be mean at all, this is an internet forum after all, but your grammar and sentence structure in this post isn’t very good. Maybe this is some of the “polishing” you could work on. Take care.
