Something similar happened to me, where I was talking to someone, really really loved it.. the connection was something like never before and we met up, we had a great time and parted ways. Then the next day, with a little bit of snooping through facebook, I found a photo of a family member congratulating her on her 15th birthday.. I’m 22. Help, she lied that she was 20. Im so lost
Men of Reddit: how would you feel, if you found out your online female friend was lying about her age?

run, run fast, run far, lol.
I would never anonymously meet up with someone, I would at least know who they are and how old they are. If I found out they were a kid I wouldn’t speak to them anymore
The FBI wants to know your location.
Block. Move on. Nothing is a surprise anymore.
Immediately break off contact. The risk is too high, my friend
Cut all ties with the jailbait 🏃♂️
You couldn’t tell she was a young teenager when you met up?
Either way block her and never interact again.
I need to have a friend first
How I would feel of anyone lied to me in that there’s broken trust now.
As for your specific case if she is a minor then break it off. If she tries to reach out ask her to post her ID because any drivers license and IDs tend to look different when someone is under 21 or is a minor as a quick and easy way to check.
You connected with a child. Don’t be stupid. Ditch it. There’s also common scam on dating apps where it’s a girl that claims to be 18+ then later some how or another magically confesses to being younger coincidentally after an intimate chat exchange or pictures. Then it just so happens the parents get your number or confiscate “her” phone and say they’ll have you put in jail if you don’t help pay their medical bills. It’s just a scam, report it and disregard it. If “she” claimed as 18+ you will only be found chargeable if you continue after knowing the truth. Which again it’s typically all a scam and the intimate photos are actually of an 18+ female but it ain’t who you’re talking to.
Handled many cases related to service members where people were trying to scam them using such strategies.
