I ran low on pants while doing laundry today and found that I can still fit into a pair of Old Navy 32×33 jeans I dug out of the bottom of the dresser drawer from like 2006.
I’m not gonna lie, they’re ball-huggers now, but they still fit.

33×34
34×34 at 70.in my 20s it was 32×34
36×32-34, down from a 42 in 2022.
32 and wear 29s most days, i dont think this is an age thing….. lots of skinny old guys
Okay not quite 35. 34 I BARELY fit in my 30x32s snug. I used to wear 28x32s and they were loose until my early 20s. I was so scrawny.
33×32.
33×34
I’m not over 35, but I’ll be 35 in a couple months.
I fit snuggly into a 36×30.
I’m 5’10ish and weigh 220. I’m really trying to get back into my 34’s though.
On the plus side my wife can’t fit into any of my jeans because her ass is too big. We’ve had a discussion that once her booty fits into my jeans then I’ve gotten too fat.
32×34 which is what I wore at age 20. With a minor change between ages 26-36 when I was 40/42 waist. But I’ve lost 90 pounds and intend to keep it off. I’m 39.
I wear 34s I can’t really go smaller regardless of how lean I get because I’m just too muscular at this point.
38×29
29×31 and 30×32 are my “daily” sizes. I work from home so most of the time I’m in shorts and sweats.
I recently graduated up to 33 waist after being at 32 waist for most of my adult life. I can kinda fit 32 waist, but it is pretty tight.
29×32. 57 and the same size as I was at 19
41, wearing a 30×30, some pairs a 32×30 depending on the cut.
32×30 skinny
38×30. Too many hours doing legs
50, wearing 32 X 30. I’m lucky to still have a round butt so I have to get the waist a little bigger.
34×28. Source: short, squatty dude.
I’m almost 55 and wear a 34”. Same size that I was in high school. I was a nose guard and literally haven’t changed in size. Still 5’ 10” and 200#.
brickshithouse
31×32. I’m 44 and have been the same size since I was 17.
I look really good wearing like 34 or 36, but prefer something like a 40 or 42 simply because of pocket size and when I go smaller my balls can breathe and my legs are just too big for form fitting clothes
34×32… biggest I’ve ever been! 64 years and 195 lbs
32×33. I can fit into those OK but generally wear 34 waist as I like loose clothing. They will slide off without a belt.
Last month 32×32, this month it would be 34×32…been bing eating.
32s today but when I get over my little health issue I will start trending toward 30s.
29 waist x 32 inseam. Varies by brand.
Maybe 32×32? The boys will be split and unhappy, and I have no interest in greasing my legs just to see if they will fit.
34×32 is a normal size for me, could go bigger, but they are already broken in.
36 stretch denim or 38
34×34. Same size I wore when I was 22. We won’t talk about that slide up to 36 and 38 waist I was in for a while until 54. 60 now.
32×30 for the last 20 years. I do have a pair of 31×30 that wear occasionally.
I used to be a 30×30 now I’m 34×30. I’ve been trying to get back to having a 30 inch waist for a long time 🥹
I plead the 5th.
Thats cuz your ball hang lower now. 🤷♂️
I’m almost 40, I can wear 30×30
36×30 on a good day. 38×30 for the most part.
I’m 35. I went from the beginning of adulthood at 32×29, to a walloping 36×29, and back to a 32×29. Brand depending, I wear a 30×29. I’m 165lbs at 5’7.
31×30 when I’m hungry. 32 waist is always comfortable.
32 but I wear 34s comfortably
I’ve worn 30×32 since high school. I’m almost 40 now. My face has lines, and my hairline keeps moving further and further back, but my body itself hasn’t changed since I was 17.
Same size as when I was 18.
32×30
48 yrs old, been wearing 32/32 for over 30 years for sure. But you’ve got to be careful with vanity sizing these days. 32 is often actually 33 or more, depending on the brand and model. Dickies classic work pants seem to be true to size though
32×32. Wore it at 18, still wear it 20 years later, and 30lbs heavier.
I wear 32×32 all the time. I started doing maintenance work and the pants I had just bought started getting real tight, lol.
I decided that it wasn’t enough money and went back to construction and now they fit again. Thank God, because I had just bought 5 pair of carhartt work pants and they cost like $60/pair.
Good luck finding a pair but 29″x32″ is still my ideal jean size 20 years out of hs
I’m in my 60s and can still fit into a 40 waist. That was the samevI wore in high school.
60- 34×32. 35’s fit better in January after the 2 months of holiday eating.
37 years old, I can fit into a 31×30.
32, but I’m more active in the summer, so my weight is seasonal.
32/32 is my go to.
I was 38/32 in high school.
33×34 my 32×34 are getting a bit snug to wear comfortably. It’s probably my lack of hitting the gym though so I should be able to size back down once I start acting more disciplined.
Either a chunk of y’all are lying, men with 40″+ waists are all dying or just aren’t commenting because what do they have to gain but to feel bad by comparison?
At 38 years old, I was a 44 waist in Aug 24, now a 34 waist and know I wouldn’t have commented back then and opened myself up to being called fat when I already knew it.
To any of you lurking that are bigger, if you want more than anything to lose the weight, just cut your calories. Don’t worry about anything else and stay consistent. To those of you that don’t care – rock on and keep doing your thing.
Either way, whoever you are, don’t let the fear of what others think get in your way of anything. So post your big asses and either work on change or don’t and own it like the boss you are.
34×34, but longer length usually.
36×32 🥺 I used to be a 33×32
32 x32 at 59 yrs old
42 here and I still wear the same size I wore in high school – 32 X 34
I’m 43 and still wear a 32×34 and that hasn’t changed since middle school.
Before anyone asks that makes me 6ft2in tall and exactly 200 pounds of muscle tall and lean.
However I can poke out my belly if makes you other guys feel more comfortable so it appears I have a beer belly.
32×32. A bit abo I ate too much and had to do a 34 waist, but then I skipped breakfast for a few months and now 32×32 is where it’s at.
36×30. I’m down 58 pounds and six inches in waist size in the last couple of years thanks to GLP-1s.
46 and 32×29 smallest I’ve ever worn. Was at a 38 inch waste a couple years ago.
48M, in the best shape of my life at the moment (lean protein diet and weights 5 or 6 times per week).
I’m back into 31s and 32s again like I wore in high school, but I look a lot better in them now.
35×34. I tend to float. Come back to me in January. 47.
I can still do a 30 x30 usually in a 32×30
30×32 I was up to a 32×32 last year started lifting weights and going on walks with my wife
33×34 baby, I’m 61.
Aren’t we all wearing corduroy slacks at this point?
I was at waist size 60 at 29
Shed some weight (continuosly) and now 33 years waist size 50 or 52
Fyi, i’m 6 ft 2 big & tall
I’m a big guy, but I’ve dropped from a 42 to 36 this year. I haven’t been in a 36 since high school.
I’m 36. Earlier this year I made the switch from 30×34 to 32×34. Since I started wearing sized jeans, I’ve only worn 30” waisted pants, but I was over due. So much more comfortable now lol
Mid 40s. Same size I’ve always worn. 32×32
I have a pair of 33” Levi’s that are big on the waist. Most of my denim is raw denim so way less vanity sizing and are 34-35”
I wear 32×34 or preferably 33×33 but they are hard to find. I’m a little over 6′ tall and weigh 195 lbs. 67 years old and never wore greater than 34″ waist.
31×34 is what fits me know, I have always been a 32×34 since I was like 16. I haven’t ever been another size.
52, 34×32’s.
Early 20s was a 32×32, now in my mid to late 30s I am a 34×32, but I only buy 36×32 with a belt.
I wear 30’s. I’m 40yo. I gained a few pounds this past year otherwise I could probably fit a 29.
right now: 36×32 (actually 38)
at 35: 33×32 – forget the nominal measurement. advertised sizes that fit ran from 31 to 34.
i always buy the wide ass/thick leg cut because my legs run 25″ and hips 43″
32×30’s age 39 I wore 30×30’s in highschool
Yes I know those are short, I’m 6′ and I wear 30 length pants my dad’s 6’5″ and wears 32 length. It’s genetic.
50M. 40 waist. But only because of those squats.
38×36 or 40×34 depending on the brand. 36″ waist was the smallest I ever wore since I was a teen.
40’s but I been wearing 38 baggy since 99 (thick thighs, I genuinely leg press 1000lbs so regular jeans don’t fit me) so….26 years and I moved up ONE size? I’ll take it!
I just managed to get into 38s after losing 55 lbs. I’m 63 disabled and unable to do any real exercise.
Depends on the brand. American Eagle/Buckle I can wear a 42. Anything else is a 44-46. I’m 6’, 325lbs.
I’ve been losing weight for the past year. I’ve had to dig reasonably far back into my closet for older pants just to wear for work.
Even the pairs I’m wearing now are far too big. I could put a pineapple between my body and the edge of the waistline and they’d still be loose. But I’m reticent to purchase new pants until I see where my new body will settle. Will I continue to lose as I exercise more? Is this the best it’s going to get? We’ll see. I figure once I get to a point where I’m no longer able to drag out old pants and have something to wear, I’ll hit up the local Big & Tall store and have them help me get a new fit.
36×36. I was 34×36 when I graduated high school in 02
32×30.
Same size I wore in 2001, though I did jump up to a 34 for a couple years around 2015-17
32×32
Just got back to 32
In my 20s and 30s I was a 30 and skinny or slim. Tall drink of water. I put on weight with weightlifting and am now a 33-34. Slim is a physical impossibility for me now. I prefer baggier fits now
I am currently a 34 (at 50 years old) but did get down to a 30 when I was 40 and down to 72kgs but now I’m about 84kgs.
32×32. Lots of time at the gym and good genes/jeans.
29 x 29. I is tiny
41 yo. 32×34. Down from 48×34 just five years ago. I wear smaller jeans than when I was in high school now. Best yet, my jeans are too small form my son so he quit stealing them.
28×30(maybe 32)
The only reason I cannot fit into my prom suit is because my shoulders are too big for the shirt and jacket. Im 32 and haven’t grown since like 9th grade
At my biggest I was 42/32 rn im 34/32 though I have a pair of pants I occasionally wear for hiking that are 32/32 and it works. Occasionally get a Murph but thats besides the point 🤣
I would say my 36 waist jeans. I lost 30 lbs at my current job over the lifetime of the job because I was up to 42. Even if I lost another 30 lbs though, no way I’m fitting into 34s, because the bones don’t shrink.
With an old par it’s easy, can easily squeeze in 31 while being 45+, new ones are less forgiving
Tuesday is my 53rd birthday and after a year of loosing weight and taking care of my health I’m back to a 30×32. As I had at 16 years old.
I’m turning 35 in September and I’m still rocking the 34 w and 28 L, been wearing that size for six years or so now
31×30 is my normal size, even at 50.
I’m 55 and am back to 34×34, i was up to 36×34 but a few weeks ago I got serious about low carbs and sugar, and I started exercising every day. Trying to get back to my favorite 32 shorts I wore 10 years ago.
30×32 for the last 14 years. They’re a little more snug than they used to be but I’m not muffin topping so that’s cool. But they aren’t held up strictly by my thighs which is less cool.
Same size for about 15 years. 32×33. Guess genetics, my weight is about the same too 37m.
27×29
I have a pair of 34×32 I can fit in barely.
38×34 gang
Probably in the minority here, but I still wear the same size jeans since I finished growing. 32×32, but 32×33 is preferred. I’ve had the same pair of jeans and 4 pairs of pants for a decade now.
Same size I’ve always worn. Men tend not to fluctuate in weight nearly as much as women. It’s not unusual for a guy to wear the same size pants for 20 or 30 years. Usually the only things that change that for guys with a stable weight are a bit of middle aged pudginess or old age weight loss or height loss.
34 waist. Which is better than the 36-37 waist I used to need, but not as good as 20 years ago when I was in my 20s (32)
I’m now a 32 waist after having been a 36 for the last 8 years or so. When I met my wife I was about 82kg, got up to around 108 at my heaviest and now down to 78kg.
What am sharing is a working weight loss lifestyle to help anyone else who is bordering on type 2 diabetes.
I am 69. Two years ago I weighed 205 and had a 38 inch “comfort waist” so say 40. Doc said I had type II diabetes and I could reverse it by eating no refined sugar, losing weight, and building muscle. I now weigh 160, have a 32-34 inch waist depending on the company and a 32/33 inseam. I am 6’1”
I learned that if I multiplied my desired weight by 15 that would determine my daily caloric intake. Since I weighed 158 when I graduated high school, I chose 160 as my target weight. 160 x 15 = 2,400.
I actually decided to eat 1900 cal because 3500 cal equals a pound and that would guarantee that I lost 1 pound per week. It took me from February 8 to August 31 to drop 42 pounds. Now I maintain my weight by eating, 2400 cal or thereabouts every day and never letting my weight exceed 165.
I found that not eating sugar, and losing a weight was pretty easy. But building muscle involves lifting weights and that is hard work. Building muscle is also a very slow process at my age. I also use a treadmill, rowing machine, squat machine, and stationary bike for cardio in the winter months. In spring, summer, and fall I am very active outdoors so no additional cardio exercise is needed.
BTW, I have done every diet.- keto, carnivore, low carb, Atkins, low fat, etc. i lost weight on all of them but they were all too restrictive and unsustainable. Today, I eat healthy-ish and stop at or near 2400 calories a day. But I can eat whatever I want except refined sugar. I count calories with a free app called Fat Secret but there are lots of calorie counting apps out there.
I reversed my type two diabetes. I feel great.
29 or 30 waist depending on the brand, 30 inseam. I’m 5’7 170lbs
31 waist here.
Depends on the pants really. Some 32×32 pants fit me, some 34×32 do. The 32×32 pants I have from circa 2010 won’t even go all the way up comfortably, much less button.
29×32, but I mostly wear 30s and 31s now, even though 31s are quite a bit loose and don’t show off my form. I wanted to get down to 28×32 while I was at that weight, but was never game to buy a size knowing I’d easily put on weight that stopped me wearing them.
Honestly smallest waist as an adult was a 36 when I was playing rugby in college. I’ve lost over 100lbs in the past year and can fit into 38s again, I literally cried in the tryon room at the store. Before that I was getting 48 for the past like 5 years (ty life)
40 years old, currently 32 waist. All time high was 34 waist (about 25 lbs heavier than I am now), 28 in high school, 30 all through my 20s when I was at my fittest.
My Dad is in his 60s, wears 34 I believe. I’m 29, can fit in 32 but starting to prefer 34.
Haven’t wore jeans since the pandemic. I just wear L sweat pants most days and it’s tight around the waist so I really don’t want to know.
28, but more comfortable is 29 or 30. My raw denims are mostly 29.
47 year old. Just slimmed down to 32×30, from 38×30. Had weight gain from medications to treat a GI bleed caused by a benign growth. Took nine months after surgery for my energy levels to bounce back.
I wear 30/34. Am 51. Depending on model/fit/brand I sometimes get a 31/34 or 29/34 (loose fit, usually). It’s been my size since I was 18. I weigh the same (give or take 5 kilos).
Depends on the brand, style, and material. I have numerous jeans in the same waist size that fit me differently. Why Levi’s 34” is different from say Lee’s 34” I’ll never understand.
30×32. I’m 36
64 years old. My 34×34 jeans are falling off my waist belt is a definite. A 32″ is a bit snug. Medium shorts in most brands. I wore a 29″ age 21.
Tried 28inch waist because you asked, yes I can still close it but it’s too tight to walk…the 30inch fits fine, but adult starts here at 32inch, the 30inch is for teens in the length, too short nowadays
But I was always pretty slim and tall
Well I’m only 5’7″ and regularly work out, but I wear a 30″ waist for most jeans/trousers. When I was younger, before I started working out and put on a little size (and fwiw I’m still slim, just back in my youth I was very skinny), I could get away with a 27″ depending on the brand (although 28″ most of the time).
34 waist at 240lb. I’m 66.
34×34 at 48
At 41 with a bmi over 35, i can fit into a 40in waist.
I know i need to lose weight, i just lack the self control.
36x 34 or 36×36
33/32 for me, 51 yo
32/34. 6’1″. 180lbs.
I’m 37, 32-32 probably could fit into 30, 32s
Size 29 is the smallest I can get into, but bulking up makes 30 tight enough, so I wear 30 currently
I could probably fit into 32, but usually wear 34. I was up to 36 for awhile and lost 30 pounds which I’m going to keep off.
Jealous of all you skinny bastards. 50 years old here, wearing 36W or 38W 32L. Wore 32W 32L in high school back in the Mesozoic Era.
33×32 levi 505s.
29 since HS, I’ve always made it a priority to never let my fitness escape me.
I wore 30X30’s throughout my twenties. Could still wear them and they’d pretty much fit the same, but I upped it to 32X30. Far more comfortable.
32 X 30, but not pleasant. That’s the size I wore in college.
I’m currently at my thinnest ever in my life having lost weight over the past few years. I have a 30-31 inch measured waist and can fit into 29 branded jeans, but typically wear 30 with a belt.
I’m comfortable in most 36×32 or 36×34 depending on the brand.
32×32 now but was wearing 30×32 last year running can cause wild toning down of the body
At 52, I was in a 30″. But, I took a desk job (promotion) & ballooned to a 42 in about a decade. Now at 69, retired 1.5 years I’m coming back down. In a 38 & dropping.
Heres the issue. Jeans stretch over time. You can’t find another 32 that will fit you today.
32/33×34
32x32ish, but sometimes those need a belt, but I swear the 30 was a bit snug. I have no idea anymore. I did have some size 28 seven’s from 15 years ago, I finally gave up on those fitting again.
On a big inhale I can still button the 32’s, but they all just went in a pile for donation, the 33’s I will keep around for another year or two, as hope slowly dies. I just bought my first pair of 36’s and they’re sooooooo comfy…..
I’m back in 32×36 which is where I was in high school. I’ve been lifting weights for about a decade and slowly, VERY slowly, losing weight to be at a reasonable level and still lift. I’m 43 years old with a wife and three kids that still live at home in case that matters.
I peeked at 36×32.
I can squeeze into my 33×32 stuff. My goal is to get back into my 30×32. Lvl 37 currently.
