I get a lot of personal gratification from building small things like bird houses and what not. But opening a booth at the farmers market isn’t practical and I can’t store 52 bird houses a year in my garage if I make one a week. So I just make my mom a new one every year for Mother’s Day.
Audio engineering. Recording. Writing music and recording live instruments. Using non-linear editing. Takes up a lot of space, requires a lot of time and focus.
Golfing. I used to play 2-3 times a week and carried a scratch handicap. Having a kid put an end to that. I miss it a lot, but I love my little boy so it’s fine. One day when he’s old enough I’ll pick it up again.
It wasn’t a hobby before but because of the time scarcity, it’s started to become that… the gym. I still go but at the expense of other “lesser” hobbies.

Gaming in any form

Maybe one day it’ll come back.
Sex with my wife.

Most of them. Lately I’ve been working so much I’m just exhausted when I get home. Too tired to keep up with the rest.
