DH and I have been no contact with in-laws because of years of mental, emotional, and verbal abuse. We have a healthy relationship with everyone else in the family. They receive her nastiness at times but not as severe as DH and I did. After she threatened to legally see my kids, I wrote her off. She was on one of her benders and sent this to DHs brother. She also sent something similar to an aunt. She now refers to dh and I as nemesis….how would you react to this, or would you??

Screenshot, save, and don’t break NC. She’s acting unhinged so if you break NC and address it she will learn that acting unhinged is how to get you guys to do that. Also assume she’s sent it to more people but the ones who told you probably have your back a little stronger than the others.

My MIL did a giant smear campaign against me and DH actually before we went NC. Great news! Anyone who believes the lies and sides with MIL isn’t worth your time, peace or place in your family.
