We went NC with my MIL, SFIL and BIL about two months ago after we found out they’d been texting screenshotting and anything we say did or they saw went between my MIL and BIL and they talked behind our backs for months well last week my MIL ex-MIL so my husbands grandma whom we love told us that my MIL dropped off a Easter basket and basically info dumped on her my mil versions of events which led our gma to be very upset she just lost her two sisters and it’s really taking a toll she told us she wished we’d just get along which made me feel bad but my husband threw away the basket and we ended up leaving well today we were over there dropping off my son for a few hours because I found out my grandma who has been in the hospital is in a active dying stage they said she won’t make it through the night anyways, I wanted to see her one last time while we were doing drop of my husbands grandma said they’re was a card in the basket and handed it to my husband we got to the car and opened it and it basically said “Dear Childs name, I love you insert our name let me see him now love MIL” it was weird and kinda partially written in third person but wrote for our 2 year old son very odd anyways this isn’t that bad but with everything going on my husband ripped it to pieces I didn’t care as I plan to never let her around my child ever again as she is a danger to him like actually a danger. She’s stalked us and stayed outside our house trying to catch us outside and has threatened to kidnap our son at night. So we saw my grandma and on the way back I had my husband drop me off at our house because when I get upset I get sick and he went to get our son whilst out he apparently put the card back in the envelope and sent it back to her.
He told me about it nonchalantly he just is a very matter of fact guy so I obviously thought that maybe that was a bit mean, I’m more or less worried about the backlash because I’m worried MIL will tell BIL who is in contact with my husbands grandma and I’m worried she will get mad at us for doing that and hate us.
