Usually MIL wakes my partner up (we live at her place, check other posts) for no reason so he can go to college “on time”. We are both in our late 20s. I’m pretty sure he can wake up on time. But she aaaalways knocks the door.
Anyway, so today he was working from home and told her so. I also work from home so we were pretty happy to be alone together for a day. She has asked him when his schedule began and he naively told her the truth.
Well, this morning, at the exact time my alarm was supposed to go off, I heard the loudest drilling sound coming from the wall in our bedroom. We wake up, well, jump up the bed, not knowing what the fuck was happening. It was the neighbor. Turns out he had asked MIL if she was okay with him drilling our wall directly and she said yes and told him specifically to do so at the time we had to wake up. That way, she could still control her beloved son’s wake up time.
I confronted her via text immediately and all she said is that she had “forgotten” to tell us.
I hate this woman.
