Most people are actually willing to help, but others rarely ask for it.

r/

I’ve noticed that a lot of people go through tough times quietly, even when they’re surrounded by friends, family, or coworkers who would gladly help if they just knew. I get it — sometimes it’s pride, fear of being judged, or not wanting to be a burden. But I also think we really underestimate how kind and supportive people can be if given the chance.

It’s not that people don’t want to help. They just don’t get asked.

There are some people who prefer to work their problems out themselves. Sometimes, they don’t realize help might actually help more than they think it would. Some don’t want to reveal private matters to others. It isn’t always fear or stubbornness.

    You’re sweet.
But no, most of us are not willing to help. You can be a burden, so keep that shit to yourself

Not everyone gets help when asking for it. You learn not to ask, also if people wanted to help they would. A lot of people see others struggling but we don’t ask if they need help.

Finally, some unpopular opinion that I actually agree

If some Friend, call me at 3am, to bring him/her food, because they are too sick and hungry

I would gladly wake up and bring some food

I would always willing to help, people I like, know personally, and in my capability.

    lol, no.

Even people who do seemingly want to help will secretly resent you for it if they don’t feel you can adequately pay them back for it in some way.
