My (22f) bf (24m) never wants to go on dates

I (22f) have been with my bf (24m) for almost 2 yrs and for the past yr we don’t go out on dates. He says this is due to him being 60k in debt from credit cards and getting into trades. He is now making 80k a year however and lives at home. The dates that I want to go on are not expensive, usually a few drinks at a bar or breakfast in the morning and I offer to split the bill. Am I being unreasonable?

TLDR: my bf never wants to go on dates and I’m not sure if it’s due to me not being a priority or him needing to save money
