So basically the day after the 4th of July, she left my place claiming that she was going to hangout with an old friend she hadn’t seen in months. I was of course fine with that and didn’t think anything about it and told her to have fun. Now it turns out it wasn’t just a friend, but it was her most recent ex-boyfriend.
This obviously upset me because one, she lied even if it was by omission and two, she has claimed multiple times this ex was a bad partner, so going to see him even though they ended on bad terms is strange to say the least. The only reason I even found out was because my girlfriends bestfriend got into an argument with her about this yesterday claiming that she still had feelings for him and is essentially emotionally cheating on me.
I’m going to talk to my girlfriend about this tonight because honestly this is a major violation of my boundaries, and im probably going to walk away from the relationship if she doesnt have a good excuse.
TL;DR Girlfriend went to hang out with ex and lied about who it was.

I’m going to tell you right now, there’s really no excuse for her behavior. If her best friend is angry at her for her behavior, then it’s most likely even worse than you know about. I would drop her and not think twice.

Yeah that would be an immediately break up for me. Even if she wasn’t actively cheating, she obviously still has feelings AND she lied about who she was going to see, and the fact it was an Ex she had or has feelings for is terms for ending it
