Long story short, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 3 years now and our anniversary is the day after my birthday. For his birthday this year, I went all out. I left my family on Christmas Eve so I could go spend it with him. I decorated our hotel room, planned dinner with his friends, and a separate dinner with just us. I also got him some expensive gifts that he has been wanting. Recently he texted me about starting to plan our anniversary and completely glossed over planning anything for my birthday. Am I crazy for feeling a bit upset that he didn’t mention my birthday or at least ask if I wanted to do anything for my birthday? He lives a very stressful lifestyle so I know that’s probably playing a role into everything but AIO?
