My (27F) boyfriend (25M) of 1 month swears up and down he’s not on Tinder. But so many signs point to it.

My BF and I have been together for 1 month. We met online but not on Tinder. He deleted his dating profile on the app that we met.

He said that he stopped using Tinder “a while ago”,
before we first met.

However, today while I was staying over, a notification popped up on his phone. It was an email from Tinder with the subject line, “Couldn’t stay away, huh? 😉”

I asked him about it and he dismissed it as a random ad from Tinder trying to get him back to his account.

It still bothered me so I reactivated my old Tinder account and checked to see if he was still there. Sure enough, I found his profile. Again, he denied that he had been active since we met.

Finally, I went on his phone. Downloaded Tinder. It signed in immediately (like without even having to enter a phone number or anything) and I could immediately see that he had active matches. He had 8 hidden likes. In the “Likes sent” tab there were a dozen so girl’s profiles, all with “11 hours left” or something under the names. From a bit of Googling, it seems like now you have 7 days to review your sent likes on the app. Which implies he last used the app within the last week.

He had no messages since June, though.

He still denies using Tinder since we’ve met. But I’m finding everything too suspicious.

Is there ANY WAY, with all these details, that he could be telling the truth?

TL;DR: Suspecting my BF of using Tinder. He vehemently denies it but I don’t think he is telling the truth.

How much more proof do you need? Girl 🫠

This is way too much for this early in the relationship.

If you suspect he’s lying, whether his is or not, a month into dating then I’m afraid your relationship is doomed. You don’t trust him and he may be already cheating on/lying to you. I don’t think you’ll ever feel secure.

No messages since June. Did you find a problem or are you looking for one?
