My 29M keeps calling me 24F tubby and fat is this okay? I had a baby 3 months ago

So, to start off with something that might shock everyone last year, I got pregnant. He was really excited to be a dad, but then he left me when I was 8 weeks pregnant, pretty much abandoning us.

At first, I thought he left because my eldest daughter’s father was being bitter toward both of us and he had enough. But when we reconciled this year a few days after I gave birth, he let it slip that he actually left me for another girl.

We got back together, and he proposed. He nicknamed our daughter “Tubby,” but he makes comments like, “Tubby, just like your mom,” “Fat girl, just like your mom,” and randomly throws out words like “fat” or “fatty.”

Now that I’m typing this, I know it sounds kind of funny but it really hurts. I keep wondering if a part of him actually means it. I gained 40 pounds during pregnancy and lost 20 by the time we saw each other again, but I’m still pretty big. I need to lose another 20 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and his comments make me feel really insecure.

TL;DR : My fiancé keeps making comments towards my weight and it makes me feel like he doesn’t actually love me even though he says he does.

Why are you with this guy? He doesn’t care about you at all.

He left you for another girl, and when the other girl ditched him he came back. Now he’s commenting on your weight, what seems like constantly?

This is not okay. Set yourself up and leave this crazy man.

Also, congrats on dropping the weight! Sounds like you’re working on it. Just keep working on yourself, and move forward knowing that no one, especially the person you’re dating, has the right to comment on your weight.
