TLDR: really fucking tired of my wife.
My wife and I have been married for about 9 years now. We have an 8 year old and a 4 year old.
She is driving me up the wall lately. For starters, she’s blowing through all our money and she doesn’t work. She also doesn’t clean and she doesn’t cook. We have cleaners come clean our house and order out almost every single day, lunch and dinner. Most days she just lays in bed on her phone.
She does not go buy groceries, she orders them on her phone, even tho it costs more and I’ve asked her to just go to the store.
Today she told me she is going to get rid of our cats who are 11 and 12 years old, after getting a dog I did not want.
I told her we’re not getting rid of the cats and she told me not to speak w her the rest of the day.
Today when I came home from running errands she yelled at me and screamed at me for the house not being cleaner because I was home alone for a couple of days. Never mind that she is the one that left the house in the wreck it was in.
I work all day from home, 8-10 hour days normally. After I finish work, I hang out with our kids until bed time and then put them to bed. She gets in bed immediately after I get off (if she isn’t already in bed) and expects me to handle everything else for the rest of the day.
She has no hobbies or goals or ambitions. She gained a lot of weight after pregnancy and said she’d lose it, but she doesn’t even try and I figure she never will.
Her mom was like this, always in bed, and I worry that she’s becoming the same. She always has some issue that requires her to rest.
Anyways I’m tired of it all. I don’t want to separate because of our kids but I am fucking tired of it all. I wish I’d never gotten married.

Has she seen her doctor? She may be depressed and it could be hereditary if her mother was like this as well. Aside from that, if you knew your wife was like this, why did you marry her expecting anything different?
