i was abandoned by my biological father when i was about 5 years old, along with my little sister, leaving my mother a single mom. then, she met my dad, who went on to adopt me and my sister and raise us as his own (he and my mom also had my brother together). my biological father however has remained a homeless man in my city for all those years. he is from the US originally (i’m in canada) so he has never been able to go home. he is a musician, an “anarchist” (as in he doesn’t believe in belonging to the system) and a magic practitioner (he’s written grimoires and works with “demons”). i have seen in him twice and keep up with him by lurking his facebook page, just to make sure he hasn’t died. he seems to have derailed mentally but remains an eccentric person, posting himself singing and playing guitar at various internet cafes where i assume he uses his facebook to post+posts chapters of his memoir (i have read it out of curiosity). i also know he still plays shows at bars here and there. anyways, there are a lot of details to the story and to my personal feelings towards him/the situation, so ask away! it might help me really reflect on all of this.
my biological father has been a homeless man in my city for 10+ years. AMA

Have you ever tried to help him in any way?
What would you to say him if you could?
What’s the story with him and your mom?
How did you find out?
has he mentioned having kids in his memoir
What reason did he have for leaving? (Whatever the reason, it obviously wasn’t okay!)
What do your mom and sister think about his current situation?
Have you/your sister ever considered being in contact with him again?
Why can’t he go back to the US? (I’m not from North America so I apologise if this is obvious)
Do you find it embarrassing?
Have you asked your mom what kind of person he was and how they were together or was this just young dumb love?
Why do you think he chooses to be homeless
