I (25F) and my boyfriend (29M) our relationship started as a situationship at first as we both did not want a commitment, but I’ve always sensed he wanted more during that time. He told me about his past relationships the first one lasted 10 years since highschool till college and the other one lasted couple of months. The first breakup caused by his negligence and not being a good boyfriend (that’s what he said) she decided to block him from everything but every now and then she reaches out to him on different apps example : (LinkedIn) she asks him for money or a favor.
Once our relationship became serious he told me she asked him to add her back on instagram and told him that she misses him (they have been broken up for 4 or 5 years now) and he added her back his response to my questions why did you add her is that he doesnt want to disrespect her and she did nothing bad to him so he cant treat her bad or say anything to her. Now she is on fb too she sends streaks on snapchat to him daily. The thing that is bothering me is that he lied to me about her name and pretended to unfollow her (he unfollowed a random account) because i was so annoyed and asked him to unfollow her out of anger. She reacts to his pictures and still on his socials. I am so confused and mad at the same time but i dont know what to do exactly. Is it something to be worried about?
Tl;Dr : my boyfriend added his ex back on social media and lied about her username to keep it a secret.
