My girlfriend bleeds a lot during penetration. Is this normal?

r/

My girlfriend and I attempted penetration. The first time around, we inserted a bit of the tip, she bled and we had to stop. The second time, we inserted a bit more than the last time, she bled a bit so we had to stop because it caused her pain during insertion. The third time, we inserted a bit more (to be exact we inserted few mm above the corona of glans part of the penis), she said it hurt, we stopped and she was bleeding.

Physically, it is still difficult to insert it more and up until now the most we had done it was the third time.

We haven’t attempted full penetration yet. She is worried about bleeding more. Is this normal and will she bleed the next time?

Edit: She is a virgin.

This isn’t normal. Virgin or not. She needs to go to the doctor

She is most likely bleeding due to her hymen being torn. Some people bleed for a few minutes but some can last 24 hours. It’s probably a good idea to leave it for 24 hours so it can heal and then try again with lube and fingers instead.

If she’s not bleeding due to the hymen or the bleeding lasts a long time, she should probably contact her GP.

Yeah we need a few questions answered.
What are you guys doing beforehand?
    Is there any lube involved?
Are you positive she wants to have sex? I’m only asking because if she isn’t actually wanting to she can be extremely “tight” due to nerves because shes not ready. (I’m not saying you’re forcing yourself on her)
Is she aware of any issues her mother or other family members have had?

My GF had Ovarian cysts that was exactly like this. She had to have a hysterectomy surgery and was super hard on her.

If it’s more than 1.25 pints, she might want to see a doctor.

What do you do before you try to put your dick in?

Go visit a gynaecologist, she may be suffering from vaginismus or she may have some condition of the vagina such as septum,or a cyst.
    Better consult a doctor

No. It’s is not ever normal to have bleeding if she’s not on her cycle. Even hymen should not bleed when being stretched out of the way of the vaginal opening. If there is blood, there is tissue damage. It’s important for her to go see a Dr to figure out the cause.

    1. No one should bleed during their first time(these ppl are doing it wrong and harming their partners)
    2. No one should bleed while attempting intercourse.
    3. No one should bleed during foreplay

Some reasons why someone might bleed during sexual intercourse(feel free to Google them for more info)

    1. Vaginismus
    2. Vaginitis
    3. Std/sti
    4. Chronic reproductive health issues(endometriosis, PCOS, fibroid, hormonal dysfunction, so on)
    5. Autoimmune disorders that affect soft tissues
6.Trauma to the area(including Rough, unlubricated penetration but you really have to be trying to do so to bleed a lot)
    6. Genital malformation
    7. Scar tissues

I recommend seeing a Dr and asking about manual dilation if everything comes back normal(I do not predict that it will)

Are you sure you are using the correct hole? Because this is not normal.

Can she successfully use a tampon?

Really seconding and thirding everyone’s suggestion to get checked out. Something isn’t right.
