My landlord is trying to charge me 95 dollars for being 1 day late

Location: Tennessee. My landlord is trying to charge me 95 dollars for being 1 day late on my rent I read my lease and I have a 5 day grace period I made the payment on the 2nd of July it was supposed to be the first of July the payment was delayed because it was a Wednesday and the 4th was Friday and the other 2 days of my grace period wasn’t business days can my landlord do this !? I paid on time and it was delayed on there end
