So I’ve had a crush on this cute cashier at my local grocery storessince she first checked me out and gave the vibe that she’s into me. She gave me 4 bags once but only charged for 3, always tells me to have a nice day etc.
I decided I’d go there daily to have her ring me out and slowly ask her personal questions so I could get to know her on a deeper level.
But on the fifth day… there was this husband, wife, and their two children ahead of me. (The husband seemed to be on the spectrum, but I don’t judge.)
What I do judge though, is that he was pestering her until she finally looked up, and when she saw me just passed him, she started being extra friendly to the loser??
Now I was VISIBLY upset at this, she definitely noticed. I rationalized it as “She’s doin her job, she’s just being friendly with him.” Thankfully as she rang him out, I gave her a dirty look that seemed to work and she fumbled her words to him.
But then, for some reason that only God knows, she compliments him and calls him a “nice and cute guy”?! In front of his wife, kids and ME.
Needless to say, I left my can of peaches on the belt and ended things with her (implicitly) then and there.
Why is dating so trash nowadays?

Yet another perspective . Can we get the dogs perspective next
Do we have to…really? What did the bag of junk food have to say about it?
This is fucking so funny. I hope the girl chimes in with her side of the story.
I want the manager at the stores perspective!
Did you ever consider she was just doing her job when dealing with you?
