My Mom is in a nursing home with dementia and her husband I don’t know is asking for my birth certificates for lawyers

Location: Georgia USA mother is in Florida USA

So my mother can no longer speak for herself but she has a fairly large trust for myself and three of my brothers.

My mom’s Husband is acting suspicious.

He sent me 3 original copies of my birth certificate and one copy. He then asked me to send one back; so I did. I sent the copy.

Now he is asking for me to send another one which would be a certified copy.

I don’t even know where to begin except I don’t know him well enough to trust him with a trust this large by sending him a certified birth certificate.

He said : I will turn them over to the lawyers to settle the estate, the more information they have the quicker the estate will be settled and the less it would cost-via text.

Is he doing anything manipulative? The lawyers don’t need my birth certificate for this, right?
