Growing up, she was very abusive towards me (F27), mainly due to the voices she was hearing. She suffers with multiple mental health issues (hearing voices, delusions).
She is currently serving prison time for attempted murder on someone else.

Did you ever consider killing her in advance?
Do you worry for any genetic aspect in the mental health or concern likening yourself to her?
Sorry for what you went through. My aunt was schizophrenic and I feel so bad for how my cousin was raised. Her father also left at a young age.
Was your mom going through this since you were born? Did you grow up thinking it was normal or did you always know she was mentally ill?

I would have been in prison as well. Do to my mental health issue
Did she not plead reduced responsibility or whatever it’s called? I would have expected that due to her mental health issues she would have been institutionalised than jailed, but I don’t know anything about the US legal system
