They’ve been going through them and my mom (she’s a teacher) even talked about bringing my art to her school to show the kids.
Problem is, I had a very unique childhood and had a lot of trauma (not related to these parents). I haven’t looked at my artwork or journals from my childhood in over 20 years but I’m sure there’s some super private things in those boxes and it feels super invasive. My parents live in another state so I can’t exactly get these items until next time we have a visit.
This is so awful I just feel so vulnerable and uncomfortable right now 😭 I asked if she could wait until she brought them but it’ll won’t be for another few months.
