Hi I’ll keep it short as I can. Location: Florida Broward county. This is a new post from a previous one as new information has been updated
So long story short me and 2 family members were going through a intersection. Our light was green and we was t-boned. I got hit on my side so full impact and the driver totaled their front end as well as her car. I was passenger and my parent was driver while other member was backseat
I suffered a broken arm,leg,collar bone, fractured hip and ribs, punctured lungs.
Family members have injuries like concussion and bruises.
As I know it’s he say she say and Florida is no fault. I have police report. But it doesn’t include me andy sibling. It’s written where my parent is in the wrong. But at the same time no ticket or arrest for anyone.
Police don’t want to amend it as “witnesses” say they saw the whole thing but aren’t included and the said officers claims to used a “device” to tell who’s in the wrong. I have body cam of him arriving afterwards showing me and sibling before extraction.
Few months later afterwards the accident a video is mentioned by bso officers. No one can tell who hit who. But doesn’t want to release video. I have made requests and we had a lawyer try but they won’t release.
The person that t boned us lawyer’s or insurance company wants to settle us for 40k for all three. That’s too low for my bills are 500k and right now I’m still crippled and homeless.
Talked to 20+ lawyer’s none will/can’t/know how to help. One suggested to just take and other suggestion was to try to talk to the insurance. But she had basic insurance.
The statues are over next month on the 14th. to me I feel the officer and this woman are familiar with each other. So it seems very back pocket.
What can I do In this situation as it’s left my homeless and I’m scared of I take my medical bills will devour it. I have nog talked to the insurance company as I’m not with a lawyer but no lawyer will take as it’s not big fish like Pepsi. Not even Morgan and Morgan and others actually believe the report.
