New book smell 🤤 >>>> old book smell 🤢

r/

Old book smell is often more talk about, beloved and even romanticized, but I can’t stand it. It’s sickly sweet, mixed with something dusty that smells like it’s going to give me some respiratory infection.

I just adore new book smell. The fresh ink, glue, coatings. Even though I exclusively read library books I never pass a bookstore.
