I love music and I am passionate about it that I sometimes consider travelling for it. The older I get, the more I am thankful for other women like me (40+) who love live music and show up for it.
There’s times where I meet women that don’t know current music and I don’t judge anymore because it’s a full-on hobby at this point.
My question is, who is a band or musician that you’ve recently started listening to (and, extra, who are you excited seeing LIVE sometime soon).

My life does revolve around music a lot, I go to probably 20-30 live shows a year and Brutal Assault is THE summer vacation for me. It’s kinda hard to find women who are into the same music, heck it’s even hard to find men who are into the same music because the metal subgenres are so vast and numerous, that meeting a fellow metalhead can still mean you literally have no bands/fave subgenres in common lol. I majorly lucked out with my BFF because she likes a lot of the same stuff I do.
As for most recent discovery, I’m kinda ashamed to admit that I only got into Amenra last month. I’ve known of them for a long time, I just haven’t gotten around to listening to them until now and holy shit, it’s right up my alley. Coincidentally they will be in my city within a month, so I’ll definitely go see them. As for April/May concerts, I’m very much looking forward to seeing Spectral Wound, Saor and Grima live again.
