There is a no contact order issued to the other person I am involved with. This was part of the bond and the conditions listed that are checked off include, no returning to the scene, no contact with me, no living together etc.
it was violated and the police said they’re going to try to get a warrant (person fled) and just left the scene. I got a call a few days ago from the PD and they said the warrant is active? The person is not to come by even if they request a police escort they will be arrested immediately. But I do see record of a warrant, their defender doesn’t either. I’ve tried to get in contact and placed on hold for a long time, who do I get in contact with to find out if there is a warrant not.
The no contact order issue did not have “can go back once and get belongings with a police escort” checked off only the ones mentioned above.
The other party has their belongings and pet with me plans to come by whenever to retrieve only the pet. I asked them to give me a day and time. They responded saying they’ll get a police escort.
Also what are the laws regarding abandoning their pet?

This is going to vary by location, which you haven’t included.
The pet thing is probably a civil issue. It’s basically communal property and if he doesn’t want it you can keep it. Or take it to the shelter. At least so long as there isn’t a court order prohibiting you from getting rid of the dog.
