skills in humans evolve over time; the same way someone who had a world record in the mile run 100+ years ago wouldn’t even qualify now, same applies to music. Our videogame composers in this century are just better on every level than those of 250+ years ago .

You could argue that a college physics major today knows more about physics than Newton ever did. But that doesn’t mean the student is a greater physicist than Newton.
I think that could apply to composer as well.
I wanted to do my report on him in my Music Appreciate course at university and the professor wouldn’t let me.
