I don’t know if I’m reading too much into this but recently I went to get my B12 injection and when I was called into the room, the nurse asked me for the B12 vial which I gave to her and the moment I did she turned her back towards me, fiddled with it a bit and then walked towards the sink and while she was drawing the injection she still had her back towards me. At one point she even dropped the vial and when I asked if it was broken she said no and quickly picked it up and started to draw from it. The reason im sus about this is because the sink is right in the corner of the room and its designed in a way that if she wanted to, she could stand normally and her action would be easy to view but she purposely (i think anyways), from the moment she picked up that vial, choose to turn her back towards me. And when she was done injecting me she seemed a bit unfriendly, I asked If we were done and her response was “bye” not once looking my way, typing away at her computer. Now I’m not one to doubt people often but the whole situation seems sus to me. Reading about nurses injecting others with wrong substance, causing irreversible damage or even in some cases death does not help. I want to know if I’m reading too much into this.

why would a nurse do that?
I mean… how ya feeling chief?
nurses are known to be major bitches
Honestly, that sounds sketchy. Nurses usually show you the vial, prep everything in front of you, and explain what they’re doing especially with injectables
Hello OP – so yes all people in the medical field should always perform any practice in front of you and or with the person providing for you, there is no reason to go to a sink or any other place, if any nurse does that, you are in your right to demand the formula or vaccine be prepared in front of you, if they do not do this, you have a right to ask for another nurse and have them get another vial, remember that this is your health not theirs so always be cautious about it. Hope all is good
All best
Unlike average humans, nurses and doctors have to take an oath to caring for a patient. If nothing untoward happens to you in 24 hrs it might be your brain in an overdrive. In case you don’t feel sick or die will you go to the same nurse and say sorry for having doubts on her intentions? I once came across a nurse who said sorry thrice while giving me a Covid shot, she had spilled a lot of the medicine before injecting, upon asking her how she was doing she said she was terrified as it was her first day at work.
You got B12 injection for a reason, right? If it was something else that she injected, I’m sure you would suffer the simptoms of vitB12 deficiency?
