Definitely an unpopular opinion amongst the old. I suppose the young can’t possible know yet.
Saying that. I think life really peaks at 30 for most people.
Yeah it sucks, but please hang in there at least until you learn about commas.
I dont know I’m 16 and highschool is great
Two weeks isn’t a lot of time to learn punctuation, but you can do it. Why go to all the trouble of writing something that’s unreadable by others?
As someone very close to my 40. I never understood this either, for me it was 20’s and 30’s. You can have lots of fun as you are young enough to get away doing dumb shit, also young enough to spend madly and still save later in life.
I always thought High School sucked as you had to study, and had no money. I wasn’t ever bullied in high school and was bit of a jock as well. It still sucked balls for me.
I graduated in 2018. I don’t miss it one bit. Don’t want it back, don’t prefer it to the workforce. Don’t miss the pile of work, nor the annoying teachers. And I especially don’t miss the sleep deprivation from all the homework. Only real thing I miss about it is seeing friends regularly. But I can still see friends.
Who is saying that? College is the best time of your life NOT high school.
I was just thinking this the other day. I’ve loved adulthood, especially after age 40. I had a terrible teenhood.
Its the best time of your life because you have decent autonomy but very few responsibilities. In 20yrs when you struggle to pay bills, hate your job, still haven’t found your purpose, stressed out of your mind etc. Etc. You’ll remember your time in high school with fondness and appreciation. If you think I’m exaggerating, unfortunately, I’m not. Adulthood gets real REAL fast
And you think work doesn’t mean to wake up and seeing people you hate?
Don’t get me wrong i don’t miss school either but for different reasons
Easily the worst part of my life…university was much better. Significantly different tone
They only say that because it’s before the bills (usually) it’s actually a crazy time for the body and identity. I also had a terrible experience but as time passes you’ll find there are definitely more important and more fulfilling periods ahead of you. Good luck, keep your head up.
