especially shooting games, without any gimmick that makes them unique, i think theyre all the same. It sucks even more when im bad at the game and just want more of a casual fun experience rather than getting killed over and over again, and no this isnt a cope because im bad at them i just think theyre really substanceless
dont get me wrong, i do see the appeal if youre a competitive player but honestly for me, these types of games are fun for like maybe a week? a month if im lucky, but after that i just forget about the game and never play it again in fact, when i stop a session i genuinely feel like i wasted time and i always feel guilty about that
maybe this is because im more of a singleplayer story-based game kinda guy idk but i play games to enjoy my free time, to relax and to enjoy a story. not to be mad at a guy with an asian name for killing me 10 times in a row AND not to be stressed when im falling behind
if you like these kind of games and enjoy the grind and the competition of it all, thats awesome, its just not my thing

that’s a lot of words just to say “i suck at games”
Everyone has a preference, that’s not an unpopular opinion..just an opinion.
Nah…. bro got spawn camped I guess ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Nah but people that are excited for a new call of duty that is the same as the previous one and has zero soul in the story mode but somehow has microtransactions worth a lot
The older I get, the more solo campaigns I want to play.
It’s the best genre of gaming, playing alone is fucking boring… and I don’t mean playing with friends, I mean competing against something that’s not a real human.
I find some shooters and open world games fun, but other than that I don’t play too much single player.
You have online player who do nothing else. Who wants to play with a person playing eighty hours a week?
Fortnite is actually pretty fun with friends.
CoD makes me feel numb to life, therefore it is good for me
All I am gonna say is: Play The Finals
The best way to play multiplayer is to have a group of people whose company you enjoy and game together. The game doesn’t even matter that much.
I agree by yourself it’s often not as fun but playing multiplayer games with friends is great
What I miss from FPSs is a longer energy bar, Goldeneye had it so you could have quite long shoot outs, COD has it as nearly one hit and you’re dead.
Even Timesplitters, from some of the Goldeneye design team, made it so you die quickly. I don’t know why, it’s unsatisfying.
In COD I either walk around and get killed by someone I can’t see or I walk around and see someone who can’t see me who I kill. I don’t see the point. I want to see someone, maybe take 20% of energy from them, hide behind a wall, jump out, someone else appear, catch them, someone else appear, and then it becomes this chaotic shoot out. Stick you all in some rooms, put windows in there, and it’d be epic. But no, it’s just wander into some space and get killed by a sniper, great.
I loved videogames as a kid and early teen. As an adult, you couldn’t pay me to play a fucking videogame.
Everytime I’ve tried doing good at the game and having fun the only thing i can think about is how tedious and a waste of time it is.
Not hating on anyone but that’s just my opinion. I’m sure if you were younger you’d love all the new games whatever.
