Hoping for some advice and/or ideas on how to fight this current battle with my ex. She’s very selfish and entitled and jealous of our children’s relationship with my step-children. When the kids are with her she refuses to let me contact them, and she refuses to let them have their step-siblings contact info on their iPads so they cannot FaceTime or play games together. They have told her they want to, but she says no. She doesn’t even let me call or see them on Father’s Day.
The other week I left a note in my sons soccer boot that simply said “I love you buddy, have fun at soccer” and she must have noticed it in his shoe before he went to put them on and tossed it out because he never got the note.
Is what she is doing illegal and can I fight it. Our custody is 50/50… she started to act crazy and entitled as soon as I got remarried to my amazing wife. In particular my daughter and my step-daughter are attached at the hip when they are here and my stepdaughter was just crying over the fact she can’t call her sister because her sisters mom is the way she is.

Thats legal. Parents are allowed to spend their time with their children without the other parent inserting themself.
