So i was driving on the highway this morning on my way to work when i noticed a car that was behind me speed up and switched into multiple lanes i then seen a “United States Park Police” vehicle do the same but got behind the speeding vehicle, cut the lights on a conducted a traffic stop. I never knew Park Police can conduct traffic stops.

My emergency vehicle operations instructor at FLETC was from U.S. Park Police. So yes, they can do traffic stops
Yes they can. And a friend of mine found out the hard way that college campus police usually have reciprocal agreements in the surrounding city and can also do traffic stops off campus.
