Partner Filed Fake Retirement Without My Consent – Urgent Help Needed

Location: India

I’m a majority partner in a government contractor firm in (registered under HQ Chief Engineer Command). Recently, one of my partners has taken some serious illegal steps:

He attempted to force me to resign through threats and blackmail.

I refused to sign anything, but now I’ve discovered he submitted a false retirement application in my name to our registering authority.

I never applied for retirement. This was done entirely without my knowledge.

We’ve gathered strong evidence, including documents, call recordings, and video clips.

Due to this partner’s ongoing actions, the firm has been in dispute for quite some time.

What I need advice on:

1. Is this considered a criminal offence under Indian law, or should I pursue civil/business court?

2. What type of lawyer should I hire-civil, corporate, or criminal?

3. Is there any lawyer here which can advise me for free?

I already reported this directly to HQ Chief Engineer Command but no response received.

Any help is appreciated. With better understanding and knowledge I will be able to unsure my best next step to protect my legal rights.
