oh my god this triggered me, yesterday someone said I look like a character “in a good way” and I’ve been grinding my teeth thinking wtf does that mean when in all likelyhood bro just said something that popped into his head
A lot of us are conscious because we think that other people are always observing and judging what we do, what we say, and what we look like. And while this might be true in a sense when you’re a grade schooler or high schooler where your world is so small that everybody notices everything, it’s not likely to be true when you’re in college or when you’re an adult.
While there are a few bullies or gossipers who make it a point to mind the business of others, many other people are just trying to make an effort to reach their goals or have fun or even simply to survive, so not everyone has the energy to be interested in how others are behaving or looking.
I know no one thinks about me, cause if even my “friends” and family don’t check up on me after I tell them about a medical emergency then why would strangers bother lmao
I assume no one ever thinks about me unless I hear that they do or some event occurs. I don’t mean this to sound like people don’t care about me, I just don’t assume they think about me unless they have a reason.
Not really. It’s actually a never-ending paradox, butterfly effect, etc.
Person A is thinking that Person B is judging them. But Person B is thinking Person C is thinking about them. Then, Person C is actually obsessed with Person A.
When Person A finds out about Person C’s obsession, they start to think the idea of Person B judging them is true. Person A then acts odd with Person B. Person B then thinks Person A is now judging them.
And on and on it goes. Person C is just obsessed with Person A. So they don’t care generally what others think. Only Person A’s thoughts matter.
I guess maybe I have the opposite-ish problem. I always think no one could or does ever think about me. It’s always really weird when someone says something like “I thought about you the other that.” Or similar. Lol.

Not that one person I think about all the time.
“You probably wouldn’t worry about what people think of you if you could know how seldom they do.” -Olin Miller.
Meanwhile everyone else is just wondering what’s for dinner.
On the other hand I am thinking about other people a lot.
Unless you go viral, then you may not realize how many people actually are thinking about you.
Particularly adolescents. It’s called adolescent egocentrism and is a stage of development.
999% time allí the scenario are worst that the reality at list.
Thanks the brain ^^

I’m not much, but I’m all I ever think about
That’s exactly what a mind reader that wants to know my secrets would say
Exactly. Most people are too busy thinking about themselves to be thinking about us. It’s weirdly comforting when you really let that sink in.

I dunno. I feel like you are thinking of me right now
this is so true, and it’s so hard to escape from this feeling, you can’t even imagine
Were you thinking about me when you came up with the idea for this comment?

No one looks at you as deeply as you look at yourself.
Because we are too worried about what people think about us than what we actually think about ourselves…

I’m pretty sure the only thing people think about me is how I manage to trip over air. But hey, at least I’m memorable.

Definitely. Like when my girl asks why people are looking at her. They’re not, she just happens to see them when their gaze passes over her
Exactly most people are too busy thinking about themselves to notice every little thing you do
People think about others thinking about them more than others think about thinking about them.

That’s the opposite for me…
I always thought I was more invisible than i actually am. I am always when people say the talk about me when I’m not in there.
