People on steroids should not be PTs or ‘nutrition/gym influencers’

r/

I don’t care if you do steroids but not being transparent about it when you’re a PT or ‘influencer’ and you’re posting all this BS about diet and train hard when literally steroids is a fast forward button.

Pisses me off when these guys on it are like “this is attainable”… bro, no it’s not….. it can take decades and it won’t even come to the steroid build.

So many young people and delusional adults get suck into this dream body which can’t even be attained naturally cause they are warped by these online people

If someone is giving good advice then they are giving good advice, doesn’t matter if they are some grand wizard or if they are fred from across the street. They still know what works.

It’s fraud to take steroids and then claim the results are due to something else. It should be prosecuted as such

    I agree.

Anyone that needs glasses should not be a teacher, nor should those doctors that have used antibiotics treat patients…

Taking steroids doesn’t grant you a nice body like a genie 😂 you still have to know what you’re doing.

Yeah, but they make money, so they’re not going to stop.

It’s sad to see a 19 year old, who obviously takes ‘something’ posting like they were able to get that body with ‘1.5 years of hard work’.

But, now you know what girls had to deal with for years. with the ‘expectation’ to look like a super model, and, even today, the idea of an actual real-life body is alien to young people. because influencers use all types of video and photo editing to make them look ‘better’.

It just stinks that this is what impressionable people in middle school and HS think they should look like.

Same with chicks with BBLs trying to teach women how to grow a dump truck

This isn’t an unpopular opinion, most people who would agree with this sentiment

You’re vastly overstating the effects steroids have without a proper diet and training.

You have 0 idea how this world works. You want the people on steroids to guide you as a trainer, they have the most knowledge and discipline out there (most of them). Steroids help you reach some places fast and to get further, but they are no magic button.

Agreed and you shouldn’t try to compete in tested competitions whether it’s bodybuilding or powerlifting. I dont care if you can game the system and cycle off long enough to fool the tests, know you gave up your integrity and won nothing. Oh and trt counts as a ped because it literally is.

How a PT looks has nothing to do with your knowledge or ability to be a good trainer.

Who is the bigger idiot, the OP who said completely different things in the title vs the body, or the illiterate commenters that didn’t bother reading the first sentence of the post?

Those frauds who claim nutty and bring unrealistic standards which can lead to dangerous physical and mental effects on younger and impressionable people, yes absolutely agree with you.

Those who are open about it, i don’t mind, there are many serious ones that have a lot of knowledge and experience and will not try to force you into peds (unless that’s what you’re looking for), and albeit i personally don’t like that stuff, i will not undermine their knowledge because of their choices

Sure as long as we can agree heroin addicts shouldnt be in the government.

I worked with a few guys that did them. Don’t think they managed their diet that well because it certainly didn’t look like they were on them at all

The frustrating thing for me is that it is definitely a fast forward for progress button but it does still require hard work and dedicated effort.

I used to take them for powerlifting but I never denied it

The shameful shit is people scamming others with that bullshit. But to some degree I think it’s delusional on the part of the consumers. It’s easy to tell who’s on them and people wanna believe they can have that body without touching it.

I don’t have any insightful commentary other than that I agree it’s frustrating. And I don’t recommend it. That shit is hard on the body and not worth the cost for the average person.

i wanted to do steroids but apparently you still have to workout!? wtf im tryna take the drug and be a muscle bound freak im better off just going to the gym 🙄 i was very disappointed to learn that steroids dont pump you up off the use. Bootleg ass drug imagine if you had to be super cool and chill already when you smoke weed or you had to already be a loud talking confident stupid clumsy person to get drunk? what a rip off

They’re all doing it on r/gym, I got banned for pointing out someone who was obviously injecting test but saying it was clean living and hard work
