People who are chronically early is just as annoying as people who are chronically late.

You know the type. It’s fine if you show up 10 minutes before a scheduled arrival time, but the dweebs who show up 15, 20, 30 minutes before? Do you just have unlimited free time that isn’t worth anything? Why are you here so early? Do you enjoy waiting on me? I know you’re judging me for showing up at the *gasp* scheduled time, but don’t you have any hobbies? Aspirations? Chores? Do you really enjoy spending huge chunks of your day just idly waiting?

Why did you show up at 6:30 when I said the party starts at 7? Why are you banging on the doors of my restaurant/store/whatever at 10:47 when it clearly says we open at 11? Why are you reminding me that you’ve been here for twenty minutes already when we both agreed to arrive at 2? Why didn’t you tell me to get there at 1:40? I’m a punctual person, but my day is packed and I’m not insane.

I know the early bird gets the worm, but how many damn worms do you actually need? I know what this is actually about, by the way. You see yourself as mister (or misses) tight laced, get-shit-done-i-run-a-tight-ship kind of person. I know you see punctuality as a game of domination, and that if you beat me there you’re the more professional and developed person. You’re more disciplined, more manicured, and just better than everyone else. I’ve got news for you: you’re not, and everyone else knows it.
