Yes, I double on that. You force everyone else to smell your body odour, sweat and dirt. You have a duty towards the other people in public places, if you have weird ideas about hygiene you shouldn’t be allowed to leave your house.

I wouldn’t argue with you that it’s definitely kind of a social obligation to a certain degree not to be a walking biohazard when around other people, but I’m kind of curious how you define “weird ideas” lol
Where do you live?
In my experience being stinky has never been popular.
Not unpopular.
When the air conditioning died at my job i said fix it or i’m not wearing deodorant lmao; took them like a month to fix it; so yeah deal with my sweat smell
I actually agree, but at least brush teeth and shower
Op I’m sure you mean optional, here.
Wrong sub, the vasy majority of all cultures value hygiene.
Where is this an unpopular opinion? You may be assaulted by one or a few persons’ stench sometimes, but the vast majority of people in the world with the means to do it do believe that washing and deodorizing is an absolute must. The majority of the time, if you encounter someone with bad body odor it is likely due to specific circumstances, either temporary (coming home from a long and hard day of physical labor, etc.) or entirely beyond their control (poverty, homelessness, etc.) It is only in rare instances where it is a personal choice.
It is interesting how bad some hygiene is. Some people are ignorant, blissfully unaware or flat out don’t care. Sadly, difficult to police
Most obvious option of all time
