They’re making phones too loud, people are losing their hearing, or my ears are sensitive (feeling the vibrations).
Maybe all three.
But honestly, I could be in another room and hear their phones or even on another level of a house. The worst is when someone is sitting next to me and wants to show a video to me and all I can concentrate on it are the vibrations I’m feeling in my ears bc it’s too loud.

Volume control is a thing
That seems to be a user error rather than an phone problem.
That’s like complaining that speakers in general is to loud, and shouldn’t be made for that.
Most phones have these little buttons on the side somewhere that can help with this problem
