[Pokémon] Could it be possible for two Pokémon to occupy the same pokeball? Say for example a Pokémon was holding onto another Pokémon when the pokebal hit, would it take in both Pokémon? Cuz a wild pokemon couple might want to be a package deal… would that work or would you HAVE TO use 2 PB?

r/

(This does not mean biologically fused Pokémon, such as mousehold, slowbro or slowing, this means 2 totally seperate Pokémon, like Eevee and Pikachu for example)

No, unless the individual Pokemon are already a package deal (dugtrio, exeggcute, magneton, kangaskhan, etc) then two individuals can’t be packaged together. If this is for a fanfic or something, you could just make new one, prototype or mass produced (depending on your needs), and call it a couple’s ball or whatever you want.

There are multiple Pokemon that are separate entities, like Exeggecute, Kanghaskan, Falinks, Wishiwashi school form, and the Calyrex rider forms. Kanghaskan is the best example because the baby is literally a second Pokemon that’s being carried by the first. I think in theory it should be possible, but the Pokeballs are programmed not to catch multiple entities unless they’re programmed exceptions, like Kanghaskan. It’d be similar to how pokeballs won’t catch someone else’s Pokemon.

    Err… somewhat?

Maushold and Slowbro aren’t biologically fused. Same for falinx and eggecute, and possibly dugtrio, along with similar Pokemon.

Slowbrow’s shellder can let go any time it wishes, resulting in a slowpoke and shellder. The others are more socially bound to the point where they function as one entity.

Biologically fused pokemon would be Magneton (for a given definition of “biologically”), Wheezing, the Beldum line and Klingklang, where the individual pokemon clearly function as one entity with one body, rather than multiple pokemon acting as one.
