Police wants me to be a witness against drug dealers I have never seen

So, today the police called me to get downtown to their station, said they have questions about some manufacturing of narcotics

Long story short, I got there, and they started asking me if i ever copped meth through the phone

(Mind you all i ever did was smoke weed and even that shit was ordered from another country or through friends, never straight from the plug)

After that question I laughed and explained to them that all I ever did was smoke weed and even that is my past, I’m like 3 months sober now

So they told me that they got my phone number calling a dealer they recently caught asking about “the stuff” and obviously hinting I was asking about meth

And that got me like ??????????? cuz I know I would have never done that shit through the phone, nor wouldnt I done damn meth

Then they showed me pictures of 2 said dealers that I was supposed to be in contact with, and I have seen their faces for the first time in my life…

I would have loved to help them but me telling i dont know shit made me look even more suspicious.. they said they will get the recordings and call me in again, what does all this bullshit mean???

Note: I’m a food courier, that was my only logical answer to why would i have called said dealer, but that came to my mind on the way home.. idk man
