Why and when we normalize putting a piano in public places for people to play?
We don’t do this with a microphone for people to sing (thank god), not with a guitar, why is it considered ok with the piano?
I don’t care if you play the piano, just stop that annoying sound and leave the public places quieter, please

is this really normalized? I haven’t seen one in my city
I work in a hospital that has a piano in the atrium where people enter the building. We allow anyone who can actually play to play. Staff. Visitors. It helps more than it harms/annoys. We have a surgeon who is so gifted that comes and plays to decompress between surgeries. It helps him and everyone around him.

I agree. My city doesn’t have any. I haven’t really seen any in Asia in general, since we respect that the public areas are for everyone to enjoy in peace.
