Hi all,
My name is Cody and I am currently a college student going to school for cyber forensics at a school in a metropolitan area within Ohio, I am a wheelchair user due to cerebral palsy, and want to get input on recommendations for defensive specific tactics to better increase my own safety, as I have unfortunately been the victim of several instances of able-bodied individuals grabbing onto my chair and moving me wherever they please without my permission, and I want to make sure that I get at the very least, a set of body cameras, one to cover my front, one that would be clipped to my chair’s backrest to cover my rear, just in case any of these confrontations, as two of them have in the past 4 years, start to turn aggressive, or heaven forbid potentially violent. Potentially violent. My school does offer through campus PD a safety escort service 24/7, but I don’t want to have to use it constantly, so I wanted to ask the more professional users of this type of Technology, what their recommendations might be in regards to who I should go with, axon versus Motorola, or other brands you guys might recommend, and also just in general more defensive tactics that I can utilize that would still comply with the Ohio revised code chapter 29 which if you’re Ohio LE You will recognize as the chapter of the Ohio revised code that deals with criminal infractions
Thanks y’all!
P.S. also, if you have any recommendations on subs that might better fit this topic, or subs I might want to cross post this question to, please let me know in the comments of the post
