Question regarding application

Hey all. Hoping to join a department in NC after graduating from college. Record’s pretty clean, but that’s making me worry about things from 6-8 years ago. I’ll be 21 at the time of my application, but when I was 12 and then 14 I spent some time at a therapeutic boarding school at the will of my parents. It wasn’t court or government appointed and it resulted in a complete transformation of my character, but would it DQ me from most departments and make it pointless to consider applying? Two nine-month stays where I was top of my class and came out among the fastest to get out both times with no issues after.
