Wetnursing is pretty heavily limited to just women for a variety of reasons that I don’t think I really need to get into.
Anything that requires a specific set of genitals or functioning breasts.
I’m pretty sure women can’t have a job that requires them to donate semen.
Men can’t get pregnant.
Women can’t get someone pregnant.
I feel like for some jobs there are advantages that are linked to or might be influenced by the biological difference between man or woman, but I can’t think of one that makes it near impossible for one to do and not the other one
Unless it involves having a pussy or a penis I don’t think there is anything only one specific gender can do.
I don’t think men or women should be banned from doing or told they can’t do. any individual person should be able to be a doctor, lawyer, secretary, ect. That said, as a collective group, I don’t see it as a problem that ____ sex does more in ____ career types..
There are psychological and physiological differences that make some people of a particular sex better suited for a particular job. I don’t see it as a problem that 90% of brick layers are men and 90% of kindergarten teachers are women. If men collectively do more physical labour, because they are stronger, I don’t see a problem. If women make up a larger portion of kindergarten teachers because they are more maternal and emotionally intelligent, I don’t see that as a problem either.
Actor and Actress, respectively.
I think men are generally better at physical jobs (construction, oil rigging, policing) and women are generally better at nurturing jobs (teaching, healthcare, social services).
With that said I don’t think a woman can’t do construction or a man can’t teach.
Everyone is different, physically and mentally. Some women are stronger and more for than most men. Different mental make up makes different people better suited for particular jobs. There is no definitive answer to your question.
Donate to a sperm bank
Most trades seem impractical for women due to their high physical demands. Now interestingly, I don’t think most men in trades are that well equipped to run a small business on the backend. The backend work takes away from the job they really like to do. Personally, I think trade schools should open short programs on running a small trade business for women that want to form partnerships men who actually do the trade. Those courses should include the need to know concepts and vocabulary the business runner needs to know to do their backend work and have conversations with clients.
Women can’t be male lead and
Men can’t be female lead in a movie.
I feel like surrogacy would be something women can do better.
For jobs men can do women can’t, I think this gets kind of messy.
There are jobs most men can do much better and more easily than women. Jobs that involve upper body strength or manual labor like fire fighter or infantry soldier, though I don’t think that this should preclude women, just that the standards might be high enough virtually no women can do the job, and with infantry soldier specifically there is the issue of rape and sexual assault on the battlefield as well as the fact men will do stupid things to sacrifice themselves for women. Women maybe shouldn’t be infantry soldiers unless things get really desperate or in very specific situations.
Besides that, it’s not really a job but obviously sperm donations.
For jobs women can do men can’t
We have wet nurse and egg donations obviously for biological reasons.
I think women are better suited for certain jobs, like astronaut and child care. But these also shouldn’t preclude men, I just think women are better suited for these jobs than men are generally.
Edit: I’m getting a lot of questions on the astronaut one, and I don’t feel like repeating the same answer for each one, so I will elaborate here.
There are a few reasons that have been documented, and here is a one article that explains some of the differences, If you Google though, you’ll find way more. I almost linked a NatGeo article that goes through most of them, but it’s behind a paywall.
But basically, women are less prone to radiation damage, they consume less oxygen, produce less CO2, eat less, require less water and are smaller and better in tight spaces. Meanwhile the physical strength benefits of being male are practically useless in an environment where everything is weightless.
Men have three advantages though as astronauts, though all three have been more or less addressed and aren’t that important.
Any job can be done by a woman and any job can be done by a man…
But there are absolutely jobs that are more suitable for a specific gender.
There are some women who are bigger and stronger than most men, so this question doesn’t really make sense.
There’s an exception to every rule, but I’m my extensive experience, women can’t hike as far carrying as heavy of equipment without injury. Neither can smaller framed men.
Sure, gimme a 6 foot tall rancher girl who chews tobacco, she can work all day just fine. But saddle me with some 5’6 carrot of a person and her problems and burdens will become mine very quickly.
Most people can do most any job as long as they have a teachable, positive attitude and aren’t a sullen asshole. Being cool can atone for most things. Working hard can atone for some things. Doing both is perfect. Same goes for bosses. A shitty boss makes an easy job hard, and a hard job impossible.
If you’re attitude is square, I’ll work with anyone. But if you’re a fuckhead you better pull your weight and then some.
>What do you think are the jobs women can’t do but men can
Creating a fair society. When the average man got his rights, he fought for rights for minorities and women. When the average female got her rights, she voted for privileges like affirmative action and gender biased laws, stomping over the same men who fought for her rights.
ROOFER vs SCHOOL NURSE
Here comes the comments forgetting trans people exist.
Idk about can’t but there are some obvious differences in interest in things vs people, tolerance for physical exertion or danger, interest in managing all of the nuts and bolts of an endeavor vs the main thrust etc.
They can all do jobs.
People do know that in Sweden. Men and women have complete equal opportunity to pursue any career they want and when left to it. Men and women tend to choose certain job fields. Men are more likely to pursue careers in construction whilst women are more likely to pursue careers in carework.
Men and women are different but should have equal opportunities.
I remember when my little brother was 5 and my family never socialised him into stuff. We would be fine with whatever he wants to play with. I remember sitting him on my lap and looking through a shopping catalogue asking him what toy he wants me to get him for his birthday. He flipped straight to toy page showing stuff like trucks, action figures, cars, dinosaurs etc and out of interest. I flipped to the baby dolls snd barbie stuff which he immediately flipped away. When I went back to the barbie stuff, I heard him give out a frustrated huff and say no and flip to the WWE stuff.
That’s when I know boys and girls are different. Both can do the jobs but they choose differently in most cases. Men can get a job in carework and probably do a good job and a woman can get a job in construction and probably do a good job. But when given freedom of opportunity, majority of men and women choose different
If we’re speaking in generalities, there are a lot of jobs men can do that women can’t and they usually involve things with physical strength and endurance. I’m not saying all women, but most. Firefighting, construction, commercial fishing etc.
There are very few jobs that women can do that men can’t though. And this has nothing to do with equal rights for women or feminism. I’m just talking about generalities for most women. Most just don’t have the physical capacity. I’ll freely admit i do not lol.
Men can’t give birth but if you wan’t to experience a fraction of what it”s like
try a Foley cathater.
This question is like a stick in a bowl of shit. Just stir.
There are men and women jobs. For instance, >!male model!< is a man’s job. It cannot be done by women.
Women cannot be sperm donors. Men cannot be egg donors.
Societally, there’s a lot of jobs that people think only men or only women should work. Ignoring that and concentrating on physicality, there aren’t many. And even in highly physical jobs, its not that women can’t do them. Its that most women can’t do them well. If you need to lift 200 pounds, most women can’t do that but some can.
So really, there aren’t any job that are impossible for any man or any woman to perform.
Some hard labor is mostly male dominated because generally men are stronger, and although they do, men can’t govern very well, they are too emotional
Childbirth
This question is so antiquated, and any answers today are irrelevant
There’s massive overlap between men and women so while you could make general statements like – men are on average stronger – you’re always going to find women that are stronger than men.
So unless you go for something like ‘writing your name in the snow when you pee’, there’s very few things that all men are better at than all women or vice versa.
Nothing. For one, trans folks exist
:: shakes head, points upward :: That’s bait.
When I graduated I worked as warden in a retirement community for a couple of years. Neither the men nor the women were comfortable with a man in the role. It was over 10 years ago but might just be an age thing.
I know that these were not the hardest jobs out there by a long shot, but when I worked in a Toyota factory on the production floor the company never differentiated between men & women as far as a job goes.
The chassis lines worked mostly under the car, reaching overhead the entire shift installing heavy parts. The majority on those lines were men, but there were some women on there hanging in with everybody else.
I worked on the docks unloading trucks and delivering parts. We had some jobs that required pushing very heavy dollies full of parts to the line, we had both men & women doing the jobs.
We rotated jobs after every quarter of the day, after break times. Everybody went on to the next job in their rotation, no matter how difficult or easy it was. The women rotated just like everybody else.
Their unspoken philosophy was that any person can be trained for any job. Of course some people were better at some jobs, but everybody was considered equal there.
Sperm donor
Egg donor
I‘d imagine a woman would have a hard time establishing herself as an Andrew Tate-like „manosphere influencer“.
It is not a case of jobs women cannot do, it is a case of jobs women wouldn’t do.
Men would do any job they could.
I can just sense there’s someone out there that’s just dying to downvote any suggestion on this topic they just haven’t entered yet….
There is no “can” or “cannot”. There is only “do” — Yoda
Making and selling Breastmilk for Milk Banks as a job.
If you give an answer using aggregate common sense type data, some idiot will always come in with an outlier and say that disproves the whole notion. Yes there are jobs that are suited to either gender better but I’m not gonna list em and go through the rigamarole of dealing with the whataboutisms 😂
Women: Male model.
Men: Female model.
