An act that mandates any company with over 500 employees to transparently disclose environmental impact data, wage gaps, and lobbying expenditures annually. If they don’t do it it would result in hefty fines and mandatory contributions to community development projects.
We know they get away with harmful practices by hiding behind PR and loopholes. This law would empower consumers, employees, and investors to make informed decisions and hold businesses accountable for their social and environmental impact.
Imprisonment for infidelity. It is murder in a spiritual sense. You kill the spirit of the person who loved you. There is no way to justify infidelity and those who commit should be locked up for good so only loyal people can encounter loyal partners.
Nevertheless, imagine the impact on children since most divorces happen due to infidelity. A family without a mother or a father is incomplete. Cheaters are wolves in a sheep clothing and shouldn’t be let loose or let alone the right to have children.
Politicians should have age and term limits as well as intelligence tests and all financials need to be public. Because of corruption
Also kill Citizens United. Because fuck that corrupt bullshit.
Also I want every politician that accepts bribes imprisoned. And not the Bernie madoff “nice” prisons. Send the fuckers to Angola like a poor person who robbed someone. Because, again, fuck corruption.
So if I could make one law, it would be that stupid and/or incompetent and/or corrupt politicians don’t get rewarded when they screw us over.
Let people vote for multiple candidates. If their top choice doesn’t get enough, the vote is transferred to their next choice.
Would let Democrats vote for the Bernie Sanders of the world and THEN the Hillary’s of the world should Bernie not get enough votes to qualify.
Would let Republicans vote for the Marjory Taylor Greene as a last choice without worry that their vote goes to the Democrat (you know, that vile evil person that dares suggest school aged children should be guaranteed at least one hot meal a day).
Rubbish is owned the person whose name is on it. Therefore they are responsible for disposing of it. McDonald’s wrappers coke cans etc become the manufacturers problem.
Simple and achievable – mandate that phone carriers display accurate phone number and name of caller on caller ID. Eliminate all this spam and get us all able to actually use our phones again as PHONES.
A law that mandates all elevator music must be replaced with dramatic movie soundtracks. Imagine the tension of boarding an elevator to the ‘Inception’ theme… or the sheer panic when ‘Jaws’ starts playing on the way to the basement
Every year, every elected official will be required to have a face-to-face meeting with a randomly selected constituent. That person will have the option of punching the politician in the face consequence-free (they can also decline if they wish).
Politician’s income would be more directly tied to the welfare of those they represent.
They would draw a salary equal to the median income of their constituents.
When they run for office the net worth of their assets will be tallied. If they are found to be hiding assets they will be banned from running in this or future elections. At the end of their term they will receive a bonus or penalty against the value of these assets based on the change in economic health of the region they represent during their term. There will be protections for “acts of god” like natural disasters, or complete unforseeable market crashes.
At the next election votors will be asked to rate their performance. They will recieve a bonus or penalty based on a weighted scale using percentage of constituents that voted and the score of the votes.
if running for a consecutive term assets will be retallied, their salary reset to the current median, then a small 0-5% salary bonus applied based on the aforementioned voting scores.
Fines for all traffic related actions are now in proportion to your wealth (not income, wealth), so, using the phone while driving will now cost around 5% of the income plus the value of all you own, you will not do that many times.
Term limits on elected officials, and age limits on senators and house representatives. If you’re retirement age, then you retire from politics.
Lobbying should be illegal, and any senator or representatives who take bribes be prosecuted and barred from politics.
Companies would have to pay candidates for job interviews. Spent four hours last week doing unpaid ‘test projects’ for an interview, only to find out they hired internally. That’s basically free labor, and I’m tired of companies wasting people’s time.

I would make it illegal for billionaires to influence elections by doing things like paying voters $1m
Limit networth to a maximum cap of $500 million.
If a company puts you on hold for more than 15 minutes, they must pay you $1 per minute.
Have someone over see executive orders so the president won’t think he have too much power
If it’s number 2 time, it should be on the company dime.

Inability for elected officials to lie. It will filter out the worst ones pretty quickly.

I would make a law that says you really super duper have to follow the Constitution, like seriously you guys.

I’d ban publicly traded companies. Its entire foundation is just so fucking inhumane
Anytime it goes under 10C everyone is paid $1000. It’s just too barbaric weather that everyone should be getting danger pay to live in it
i would remove the Second Law: of Thermodynamics
Here in the philippines, I would like to implement the no child policy if your income is below 30k pesos(525 dollars) or you have no income at all.

Once a year, every bank account on the planet must transfer $1 into my bank account. Thank you.
Politicians have to pass mental wellness checks before being allowed to be elected
Illegal for corporations to be involved in residential housing
I would make myself exempt from the laws of physics. Bam, reality warping powers.
Unless it’s a service dog, keep it leashed when taking a walk in public.
And I’m sure there would be many more.

Everyone has to give me tree fiddly.
Every country is a MMP democracy voted using single transferable vote because it’s the least worst system of government.

Term limits
Or universal basic income
No more acoustic pollution
An income cap that would eradicate the billionaire class.
