I remember when Reddit first started, or even like 10 years ago you literally couldn’t say anything as a woman without being bullied–or actually DOXXED was the big fear/threat. Post The Fappening-women have been quietly taking up space here but it’s still insane. Sometimes it’s handy for information & it’s my only social media since I fucking hate meta/etc so it scratches that itch but it’s still so annoying. I’m just tired of self-righteous know-it-all dudebros hiding behind their computer screens after all these years. We’re 25+ years deep into The Internet, is it always going to be unsafe & abusive for women?

Start calling them out. Men didn’t hand us our rights, women fought for them. We need to keep on calling them out to make the Internet a safe space for us. We can’t just leave or be quiet. Our voices need to be heard.
Oh yeah I remembered those days when I used to get banned for making jokes at anti feminists and men.
