I am in undergrad, but this is for my future in research, so I figured the people here know better than in undergrad subs.
I am doing electrical engineering at a pretty reputable school in Canada, third year undergrad. I am going into a research based master for sure, I have 2 research internships so for now academia is my plan A. I have a 3.8/4, and am wondering if retaking a class is worth it. It would boost it to a 3.85 if I ace it (I am confident about it). Is the difference in GPA going to get me better scholarships/ get me into a better school for my masters, or is it pointless other than for pride reasons?
Thanks

Honestly, aim for at least a 3.7 and you’re good. I wouldn’t worry. Theres barely a difference between 3.8 and 3.85
