[Rick and Morty] Is the wasp reality also a fascist dystopia?

r/

There was one Rick and Morty episode where Rick kept dying and going into clones. Previously he had destroyed Operation Phoenix and every clone appears in a fascist reality.

The implication being that all the other realities destroyed Operation Phoenix and only the fascist Ricks kept the clones around for uploading after death.

By that logic does that means the wasp reality is also a fascist reality as he kept his clone? Was wasp Rick fascist but also nice enough in that moment to be willing to help?

I don’t think so, the joke is just that he keeps ending up in fascist realities, you’d think you’d only get one fascist reality max but nope it’s fascism again

Wasp Rick never destroyed his Phoenix Protocol because unlike Rick C-137 (or whatever our Rick’s true designation is) he had a fulfilling family life, so he wasn’t unhappy and didn’t have to do the Little Rick schtick and realise that the Phoenix Protocol didn’t work properly.

Yes the majority of Phoenix Protocol Ricks were from fascist realities and as such would have not been allowed to, but there would be other reasons that they wouldn’t end the protocol.

To be fair, he only ends up in three fascist realities before he gets the wasp one.

Like, that’s a weird chain of bad luck, but it’s not enough to say that it’s only the fascist ricks that keep operation pheonix.

    >The implication being that all the other realities destroyed Operation Phoenix and only the fascist Ricks kept the clones around for uploading after death.

The implication was that fascism was becoming a lot more popular, not that fascist Ricks kept Operation Phoenix. Rick says “When did fascism become the default?”

Although it would make sense that Nazis would also be obsessed with cloning, there’s nothing in that episode or any other that connects Operation Phoenix being operational and fascism.

    >By that logic does that means the wasp reality is also a fascist reality as he kept his clone?

No. Wasp Rick seemed almost offended by the “Heil Wasp Hitler”, and he didn’t want Morty exposed to it since he’s been on some crazy message boards.
